Engineered a production-grade real-time messaging platform delivering instant, low-latency conversations between users through a fully bidirectional WebSocket architecture. Architected an end-to-end full-stack solution combining a Next.js 16 / React 19 client, a NestJS backend, Socket.IO for real-time transport, Prisma-backed persistence, and S3-based media handling to support reliable message delivery, presence, and rich media exchange at scale. Implemented enterprise-grade authentication including credential login, OAuth sign-in, account registration, and complete password recovery flows (forgot password and secure reset), alongside AI-assisted conversational features, request rate limiting, and a polished, accessibility-conscious user interface designed for professional, everyday communication.
